FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: oil barrier comprises sections 1 connected to each other. Each section 1 is made from rigid frames 2. Frames 2 are installed serially with a gap and are connected by means of a strip 3 attached to them from a flexible oil impermeable material. Extreme frames 2 of sections 1 are equipped with elements of fixation 7 for connection of sections 1 into a barrier of the specified length. Places of sections 1 connection are closed with curtains 8 impermeable for oil and oil products. At the same time sections 1 are installed on stands 4 as capable of controlling installation height. On stands 4 there are brackets 5 installed to fix the oil barrier to the support surface. Sections 1 may be equipped with a sorption material.
EFFECT: higher reliability of oil barrier operation on land or in water reservoirs.
