FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a self-contained wireless device for measuring temperature of the surface of an object, having a detachable housing inside of which there is a heat pipe connected to a detecting element for measuring temperature. The heat pipe has lateral locks, and the housing consists of a base having a central through-hole and is provided with supports and a cover in form of a box. The inner surface of the base in the zone of the hole is provided with a lodgement for fixing the heat pipe, said lodgement being in form of a cup with a hole at the bottom and placed with the bottom up. Between the heat pipe and the surface of the object there is a heat-conducting spacer. Leads from the detecting element pass through the hole in the bottom of the lodgement and are connected to an electronic circuit lying on the board of the electronic module which is provided with an antenna. The end surfaces of the cover are provided with latches which interact with the corresponding elements of the base during connection.
EFFECT: high accuracy of temperature measurements, possibility of taking measurements without an operator.
