FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: temperature in casting mould is measured with the help of LEDs whereto laser radiation is directed. LEDs are arranged in grooves on outer side of casting mould copper plate. Temperature registration system allows defining the temperature along fibre at several measurement points.

EFFECT: increased spatial resolution compared with measurement using thermal elements.
