FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method includes calcinations of raw mix in a calcinator, which is then heated in a calcining kiln to produce a cement clinker. Gas from a calcining kiln is retained separately from gas in a calcinator, besides, the calcinator has multiple points of entry and is heated by burning carbon-containing fuel with gas, which contains oxygen, from 0 to 80% of carbon dioxide by volume, at the same time the supplied gas is free from nitrogen, and the releasing gas is separated as containing carbon dioxide produced during burning and calcination in the calcinator. The invention also discloses carbon dioxide produced as off gas from the calcinatory, a plant for cement production.
EFFECT: reduced release of carbon dioxide in production of cement.
