FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a silicone rubber-based adhesive composition and specifically to a two-component adhesive composition used to bind both identical and different surfaces of articles, including articles made from hydrocarbon rubber and silicon elastomers. The silicon adhesive consists of two components. Composition of the first part (base) includes 100 pts.wt low-molecular weight silocone rubber, 50-200 pts.wt oxide filler, 3-15 pts.wt alkoxysilane (or derivatives thereof). Composition of the second part (curing agent) includes 100 pts.wt low-molecular weight silicone rubber, 100-200 pts.wt filler, 3-25 pts.wt amine (polyamine or mixture thereof). Weight ratio of the base to the curing agent in the adhesive ranges from 10:1 to 10:4. The curing agent can additionally contain water in amount of up to 10 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt rubber curing agent. Components of the first and second parts are mixed immediately before use while preheating the base to 100°C.
EFFECT: broader time characteristics of hardening and faster gluing.
