SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring equipment. The liquid crystal display device 100 includes thermistors 28 which are provided separately from light-emitting diodes (LED) 22 in a region where LEDs 22 are located, and a light emission control section 201 for controlling voltage which will be applied across LEDs 22. Based on temperature information obtained from thermistors 28, the light emission control section 201 reduces the target value of voltage v1 which will be applied across LEDs 22 as temperature increases and increases the target value v1 of voltage which will be applied across LEDs 22 as temperature drops.
EFFECT: improved information display.
