SUBSTANCE: method includes the following: detection of light emission brightness data, when light emission brightness data is identified for each light-emitting element on the basis of image data to display images; and control of light-emitting elements, when multiple sequences of operations are performed to control light-emitting elements related to each light-emitting element, on the basis of light emission brightness data. The stage of light-emitting elements control includes the following: calculation of capacity in each zone and full capacity of light radiation; and limitation of capacity in each zone, if the calculated full capacity of light emission exceeds the pre-determined permissible capacity, so that the total capacity of light emission is equal to the pre-determined permissible capacity or below.
EFFECT: power saving and prevention of heat release.
