Before a training session or a sporting competition, a sportsman counts a number of rest contractions for at least 1 minute and records the value, then the sportsman makes at least 5 deep and fast respiratory movements, and counts a number of contractions for at least 1 minute and records the value. The values of rest contractions and contractions are matched. If a difference of the derived number of contractions and the number of rest contraction is more than 10, the functional cardiovascular state is considered to be good, and the sportsman may start training sessions or competitions; if the difference of the derived number of contractions and the number of rest contractions is between 0 and 9, the functional cardiovascular state is considered to be satisfactory, the sportsman may start training sessions or competitions with decreased load, while the difference of the derived number of contractions in relation to the number of rest contractions is less than 0 the functional cardiovascular state is stated to be unsatisfactory, and training sessions or competitions are contraindicated.
EFFECT: method enables detecting latent functional cardiovascular disease in the sportsman.
