FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely otorhinolaryngology and may be used for diagnosing perceptive hearing loss and preclinical detection thereof. What is used is Voyachek's vocal table to be recorded in a memory of a digital device in mp3 format. After the patient repeats the words, percentage of correct repetitions of total number of the words is evaluated. A keyboard of the device is used to record the patient's answers at audio volume 10, 20 and 30% of maximum power of headphones respectively. Then percentage drop of vocal intelligibility is calculated. If percentage drop of vocal intelligibility is less than 95%, the presence of perceptive hearing loss is stated with any power of headphones.
EFFECT: technique enables detecting hearing impairment at degrees 1-2 perceptive hearing loss, as well as stating vocal intelligibility reduction at lower signal volume.
