METHOD FOR RECOLOURING AND MAINTAINING NATURAL COLOUR OF SKIN AND SOFT TISSUES OF MACROPREPARATIONS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B16/00 A01N1/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely normal, pathological anatomy and forensic medicine. Recolouring and maintaining natural colour of skin and soft tissues of macropreparations are ensured by fixation of the macropreparation in 10% neutral formaline for 4-7 days. It is immersed in a solution of the following formulation: 96% ethanol - 500 ml, glycerol - 200 ml, thymol - 0.3 gram, eosine - 0.2 gram for 10-12 days, with increasing a portion of glycerol in the presented mixture to 350 ml, and kept in the mixture for 1-1.5 months. Then, it is transferred in 4 portions of the solution consisting of: 96% ethanol - 500 ml, glycerol - 200 ml, thymol - 0.1 gram for 1 week, kept and exposed.

EFFECT: method provides recolouring and maintaining natural colour of skin and soft tissues of the macropreparations.
