FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents and may be used for treatment of waste gases of chemical, metallurgical etc plants, and for water treatment. Crushed charcoal is mixed with average-temperature coal-tar pitch. Cooled mix is minced. Solution of lignosulphonate and oleic acid are sequentially added to said mix for it to be mixed and squeezed through spinnerets. Pellets are dried and subjected to carbonisation.
EFFECT: high-quality sieve from cheap and available materials.
