FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to wheel propulsors for high load rating trucks. Proposed propulsor comprises rim with outer elastic bearing elements, drive motor, supporting drive device, input link to receive torque from motor, and actuator. Said rim has inner and outer smooth cylindrical surfaces. Bearing shoes are pivoted in two rows to rim outside. Motor is arranged inside supporting drive device casing. The latter doubles as propulsor input link. Two contact rings are secured onto rim inner surface. Said rings have outer races for flanges and inner boring. Axles are arranged inside said rings at equal spacing. Said axles engage with sprockets. Said sprockets and flanges cover the casing and are secured to its outer surface.
EFFECT: better traction, higher efficiency.
