SUBSTANCE: invention relates to energetics, namely to the methods and devices for burning fuel, particularly to the methods of initiation of detonation in inflammable mixtures and the devices for their realisation. The method of initiation of detonation in inflammable mixtures includes the supply of fuel (fuel and an oxidizer) and the initiation of fuel in the combustion chamber. The vortex flow of fuel (fuel mixture, consisting of the fuel and an oxidiser) is accomplished in such a manner that, besides the basic swirl (vortex), a vortex system is formed, whose axes are perpendicular to the flow plane, thus supply of the fuel and the oxidiser are carried out separately, and their mixing is done directly in the chamber. The fuel is submitted (into the combustion chamber) before the oxidiser. Fuel is used in gaseous, liquid or solid (finely dispersed) states, and the oxidiser in a gaseous state. As the oxidiser one can use for example, oxygen, air and their mixtures. The fuel and the oxidiser are used in a ratio, close to the stoichiometrical. The invention makes it possible to considerably simplify the method of the initiation of detonation in inflammable mixtures and the device for its realisation and to increase their technological effectiveness, and also to improve working conditions and safety precautions. Thus the functional possibilities are extended, the speed increases.

EFFECT: expansion of functional possibilities, an increase of speed of the device for burning fuel.
