FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger of a ventilation system (recuperator) comprises N discharge and supply channels with a hydrophobic coating arranged on its inner surfaces. At the same time N is an integer number and is selected as equal to N≥1. The hydrophobic coating is a mono- or polymolecular film, formed by adsorption of an aliphatic amine, for instance, octadecyl amine. It is hydrophobic behaviour of such layer that provides for reduction of frost adhesion to the surface of a discharge channel. The proposed hydrophobic coating based on aliphatic amines makes it possible to reduce freezing temperature of the recuperator's discharge channel by 15-20°C. Besides, such coating prevents corrosion of metal surfaces, and also prevents accumulation of various deposits onto them. Taking into account the latter, it is reasonable to apply the proposed coating also onto a supply channel.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of recuperator operation under cold weather and reduction of discharge channel freezing temperature, anticorrosion protection of supply and discharge channels.
