FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device includes magnetic conductor, poles, excitation windings, central inserts, acceleration chamber, target and three systems of bias windings. Bias windings of the first and the second systems are located between acceleration chamber and magnetic conductor; in windings of the first system formed with windings, which are the closest ones to poles, direction of pulse currents coincides with direction of currents in excitation windings, and windings of the second system are located between windings of the first system with gaps relative to windings of the first system and between each other. Directions of pulse ampere turns of windings of the first and the second systems are opposite. The first system of windings is provided with pulse ampere turns at the end of acceleration cycle, which are lower than pulse ampere turns of the second system of windings. Bias windings of the third system have radial size that is smaller than radius of equilibrium orbit and direction of pulse ampere turns, which is equal to direction of pulse ampere turns of the first system of bias windings.
EFFECT: reduction of size of focal spot of deceleration emission in axial direction with possibility of controlling the ratio of sizes of focal spot in axial and radial directions.
