METHOD OF ESTIMATING INITIAL MANIFESTATIONS OF PROFESSIONAL BURNOUT IN NURSES Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2468741 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increase of objectivity and accuracy of estimating initial manifestations of professional burnout (PB) in nurses, subjected to high risk of psychophysiological disadaptation and PB formation. Testing of personnel with further estimation of results is carried out. Into generalised assessment of PB in addition to Boiko questionnaires and MBI test included are data about family relationship, active strategies of coping-behaviour, objective indices of functional state of organism, expert evaluations of adaptation. Obtained data are used to calculate linear discriminant functions (LDF), corresponding to two degrees of estimation: LDFI - without PB manifestations, LDF 2 - with initial PB manifestations. LDF with the largest value (taking into account algebraic sign), which indicates possible degree of PB expression, is selected.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to detect initial indices (risk factors) of PB formation, estimate their intensity.
