FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to metal powder mixes, including hard alloys for making sintered articles. Metal powder mix comprises a) at least, one pre-fused powder selected from the group composed of iron/nickel, iron/cobalt, iron/nickel/cobalt and nickel/cobalt; b) at least, one single-element powder selected from the group composed of iron, nickel and cobalt, or pre-fused powder selected from the group composed of iron/nickel, iron/cobalt, iron/nickel/cobalt and nickel/cobalt that differs from composition a). Gross composition of metal powder mix contains not over 90 wt % of cobalt and not over 70 wt % of nickel. Iron content satisfies the following inequality: Fe ≥ 100% - %Co·90%/(%Co+%Ni) - %Ni-70%/(%Co+%Ni). To make hard alloy mix, additionally added are powders of carbides, borides or nitrides of IV, V and VI groups of periodic table.
EFFECT: higher density after pressing, reduced anisotropy after sintering.
