FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to producing powders containing solid material particles covered with a cobalt hydroxide compound. Produced powders can be used for the production of products of solid alloys by powder metallurgy methods or using additive technologies. In an aqueous solution containing at least one complex compound of cobalt ammonia, solid material particles are added at heating and constant mixing. The mentioned particles are separated from the resulting suspension containing solid material particles covered with the cobalt hydroxide compound.
EFFECT: increase in the powder activity in sintering and possibility of producing parts with high mechanical load and wear resistance are provided.
