FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing a sintered composite material comprises sintering the composition comprising at least one solid support selected from the group consisting of carbides, nitrides, borides and carbonitrides, and a binder alloy comprising 66 to 93 wt % of nickel, 7 to 34 wt % of iron, 0 to 9 wt % of cobalt, and up to 30 wt % of one or more elements selected from the group consisting of W, Mo, Cr, V, Ta, Nb, Ti, Zr, Hf, Re, Ru, Al, Mn, B, N and C. Moreover, the binder alloy mass fractions add up to 100 wt %, and the weight ratio of iron to nickel in the binder alloy is 1:3-1:10.
EFFECT: increase in hardness.
