FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: test bench comprises bed with supports and struts, railway wheel engaged with motor shaft and staying in contact with track simulator. The latter represents rail length thrusting against roller supports and is locked by springs in lengthwise direction. Besides, test comprises mechanism to load the wheel radially and vertically mounted on struts to act of rail length. Also, it includes mechanism to load the wheel horizontally and laterally composed of seated support, spring and adjusting screw. Note here that test bench is equipped with traction reduction gearbox of actual railway traction reduction gearbox design to engage the wheel with motor shaft. Rail length is located above the wheel and clamped on roller bearing arranged on struts and spring-coupled with mechanism to load the wheel radially and vertically.
