SUBSTANCE: method of reconstructing an analysed object, comprising steps for receiving a first set of projection data, which is three-dimensional information about the object, and reconstructing at least one three-dimensional image from the first set of projection data. Also, a second set of projection data is received, which is two-dimensional information about the analysed object, wherein the second set of data is recorded in a first direction and wherein a two-dimensional image is formed from the second set of projection data. The projection, representing a volume, is reconstructed from at least one three-dimensional image using the first direction as the direction for reconstructing the projection representing volume. The two-dimensional image and the projection representing volume are superimposed.
