FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the location of moving objects using the angular-rangefinder method from an aerial vehicle (AV). In the claimed device for determining the coordinates of objects, the elements of the ground control point are transferred to the AV board. The mode of operation of the camera, autonomous from the AV, is used, the spatial orientation of which is determined using an inertial measurement unit (IMU). An increase in the accuracy characteristics of the latter is achieved through periodic correction of its readings based on satellite navigation system data and refinement of the estimates obtained by the IMU using a Kalman filter.
EFFECT: expansion of the boundaries of the controlled area and the reduction of time spent on detecting and determining the coordinates of specified objects.
