FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: displacement mechanism includes two structural elements having the possibility of mutual simultaneous linear displacement, cylindrical roller having the possibility of being rotated about its longitudinal symmetry axis perpendicular to axis of mutual displacement of structural elements, and free linear displacement along axis of mutual displacement of structural elements, and two groups of flexible links, which envelope the cylindrical roller along some part of length of circle of its cross section in opposite directions so that ends of flexible links are located parallel to axis of mutual displacement of structural elements and rigidly fixed on them. Number of flexible links at least in one of the above groups is not less than two. Besides, one of the ends of each flexible link is fixed on one structural element, and the other end is fixed on the other structural element. Flexible links have the shape that provides the possibility of rotating the cylindrical roller through an angle of more than 360° without slipping relative to those.
EFFECT: achieving high-accuracy displacements; simplifying the design of displacement mechanism and increasing the range of displacements.
