FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method is disclosed for soft transfer of service between various networks. The first line of communication through the first network is used to execute communication between the first user agent and the second user agent. User agents approve using the second communication line for the same call. The second communication line is established via the second network between the first user agent and the second user agent with maintenance of the first communication line. Related data is sent along the first communication line and the second communication line so that related data is intended for the same call. The first communication line is broken, and communication is continued with application of the second communication line.

EFFECT: possibility to switch networks or devices in process of a call or a session, not losing this call or session.
