SUBSTANCE: basic station may send, if necessary, commands of time setting to mobile devices in contrast to periodical updating of time setting, where time setting commands are always sent within a certain period. However, mobile devices must be in a waiting mode, in order to control a message of time setting, which results in energy consumption. On the other hand, in case of periodical updating mobile devices may leave the waiting mode to verify whether time setting is performed directly and, if not - to return to the waiting mode. According to the proposed method, a mobile device may be in the waiting mode for a period of time for inspection of time setting commands after leaving the waiting mode.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of mobile device energy and transfer resources along a downlink.
