FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: adapter for a vial contains the main part including a connecting port of the vial, a connecting port of a syringe, an access channel between the connecting port of the vial and the connecting port of the syringe, and an adjusting channel. An expandable and compressible chamber is impermeable for gas and liquid and is made with the possibility of accommodation of an expandable rigid case. The adjusting channel is made with the possibility of connection between the connecting port of the vial and the chamber. The expandable rigid case contains at least two parts made with the possibility of telescopic sliding relatively to each other in the expansion or compression of the case.
EFFECT: reduction in fluid communication between a vial and surrounding air.
