SUBSTANCE: paper roll comprises an end cap inserted into at least one end. The end cap comprises an outer sleeve and a retaining element. The retaining element is made with the ability to move between the position of transportation and the working position. The retaining element has two opposite sliding elements. The outer sleeve has diametrically opposite transverse elements. The transverse elements protrude inward in the radial direction relative to the inner side of the outer sleeve. The sliding elements of the retaining element are directed in the transverse elements of the outer sleeve.
EFFECT: ability to move the retaining element from the transportation position to the working position with less effort.
