FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and may be used for electric power generation. Windmill comprises generator, wind speed booster composed of inner and outer cones and provided with two blades making the turbine fitted on generator shaft, centripetal wheel also fitted on generator shaft, and nozzle diaphragm arranged at inlet of said wheel. In compliance with this invention, one end of generator is arranged in turbine inner cone and opposite end is rigidly secured in casing along common horizontal axis generator and casing to allow centripetal wheel to rotate second shaft of generator. Note here that centripetal wheel vaned disc is arranged at angle β exceeding 90° from horizontal axis to increase area of blades, hence, to decrease air losses at centripetal wheel.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions, higher structural stiffness.
