FIELD: physics, signalling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire alarm signalling devices which are activated by the heat effect of a fire source and is intended for use in systems for distributed monitoring of extended fire hazardous facilities. The device has a heat-sensitive element, an electric pulse generator, an amplifier, a processing and control unit and a signalling means. Transmitting and receiving piezoacoustic transducers are connected to opposite ends of the heat-sensitive element. The heat-sensitive element consists of a first heat-resistant pipe filled with low-melting material (alloy) and lies longitudinally inside a second heat-resistant pipe. The processing and control unit includes a first and a second electric pulse generator, a first and a second logic device, a first and a second flip-flop, a first and a second integrator, a first and a second threshold device and a resolver. The output of the electric pulse generator is connected to the input of the transmitting piezoacoustic transducer and the second input of the processing and control unit. The output of the receiving piezoacoustic transducer is connected to the input of the amplifier, the output of which is connected to the first input of the processing and control unit. The output of the processing and control unit is connected to the input of the signalling means, which signals presence of a fire or a fault in the fire alarm signalling device.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the fire alarm signalling device.
