FIELD: physics, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication, particularly, to notification and detection of system data modification. Access points can notify on data in current SIB indicating nest modification period wherein SIB must be modified. Hardware can receive SIB to process data to define if SIB must or must not be modified and in what modification period. This reduced undesirable effects of using search requests for indication of SIB modification since devices read SIB after entry in cell, switchover from active mode into wait mode, etc.
EFFECT: simplified process.
