SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in disc mills with plug-in cutting inserts. Proposed mill comprises, in fact, disc- or circular body, two or more peripheral cutting inserts, each having cutting edge extending from mill body peripheral surface, and two or more angular cutting inserts each having cutting edge extending from mill body face surface. Peripheral and angular cutting inserts are arranged in mill body so that paths of their rotation about mill body central axial line overlap partially. Said peripheral and angular inserts are spaced apart in direction of mill body central axial line and located, in fact, in the same peripheral body direction to make, at least, a set. Peripheral cutting insert is secured to mill body by first cartridge while angular cutting insert is plugged in first cartridge by means of second cartridge.
EFFECT: longer life, higher efficiency.
