FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves gasification of fine pulverised carbon-containing material in vortex flow by means of tangential supply of carbon-containing material and gas flow of oxidiser, flow of material and gases in vortex flow and separation of reducing gas and ash residue; besides, gasification is performed in series in two stages in two reactors; in an individual reactor there separated are volatiles in pyrolysis mode as per counter-flow scheme; pyrolysis gases are discharged from reactor to a separate furnace, burnt with 0-5% residual oxygen, and formed gases are supplied to reactor and material is heated up to 500-900°C; then, heated carbon-containing material is supplied to the second reactor, in which it is treated with air flow in the straight flow mode; generated high-temperature CO gas is supplied to the consumer, and ash residue is unloaded from reactor; at that, flow of material in reactors is performed mechanically.
EFFECT: providing continuous processing of fine-grained hydrocarbon material so that carbon-containing material is obtained due to using the heat of pyrolysis products and carbon gasification till oxide.
