FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: one method involves extraction of the above aluminium ions from the composition containing the above aluminium ions, the above iron ions, organic diluter and extraction agent capable of forming organometallic complex, actually selectively, with the above iron ions or with the above aluminium ions, which can be dissolved in the above organic diluter. The other method involves leaching of the above ore with acid to obtain leach and solid deposit, and removal at least of some part of iron ions contained in the above leach, by means of, or actually, selective deposition of the above, at least some part of the above iron ions in alkali conditions, under which pH is at least 10, or as to selective fixation to complex of at least some part of the above iron ions with extraction agent capable of forming organometallic complex. One more extraction method of aluminium involves at least partial separation of aluminium ions from iron ions contained in the composition, by selective deposition, of at least some part of the above iron ions in alkali conditions, at which pH is at least 10.
EFFECT: reduction of manufacturing costs for aluminium extraction.
