FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: curtain-type air valve includes a frame having a ventilation opening restricted with upper profile of frame, lower profile of frame and two side profiles of frame; curtain-type valve is fixed so that it can be rotated on the frame on horizontal axis; connection device for connection of valve curtain to actuating device, by means of which valve curtain is moved from open to closed position, at that, upper frame profile on the side of outlet ventilation opening is equipped with air guide wall that protrudes beyond the ventilation opening and is located with upward inclination; besides, upper and lower frame profiles have similar design in cross section and are installed mirror-like in relation to each other in horizontal plane; inclined air guide wall is provided on lower frame profile too.
EFFECT: improvement of air flow control by means of curtain-type air valves of such type.
