FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics and can be used in treatment of patellar tendon rupture. Autograft on pedicle is isolated by cutting off tendon of tender muscle from muscle belly. Autograft is successively passed through ruptured patellar tendon on the opposite side, then, through preliminarily formed transverse tunnel in the lower patella pole, then, again, through patellar tendon to tuberosity of tibial bone. Both portions of tendon are sewn to each other, fixed in tuberosity of tibial bone in transosseous way and covered with scar regenerator.
EFFECT: method ensures recovery of extremity function in full volume, reduction of trauma and post-operation complications.
