FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves transplanting long head of the musculus biceps femoris, musculus inferior or semitendinosus towards tibial tuberosity through split kneepan. Kneepan ligament is cut in Z-shaped manner in frontal plane. The kneepan is mobilized upwards to restore patellofemoral joint congruency. Tendon of the musculus rectus femoris is cut in the kneepan saw cut projection. Posterior tendon portion of the musculus rectus femoris is shortened. The kneepan is fixed in the given position with sutures to fibrous capsule and to the transplanted muscles tendons. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved extension function. 4 dwg
