FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sport, namely, balls for games. The ball for games comprises a frame containing foamed intermediate layer and a plurality of protruding seams made from the outer layer. The foamed intermediate layer may be formed from two sheets of foamed material. The sheets have such a configuration that they have lobes which can be bent into the shape of a hemisphere without gaps between the adjacent lobes. The sheets are located around the bladder which outer layer is located around the sheets, and the resulting set is subjected to thermal moulding.
EFFECT: improvement of the performance characteristics of the ball.
