FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ash collectors and may be used at thermal electric power stations. Proposed ash collector consists of inlet branch pipe, casing, outlet branch pipe, bin, sprinkling and spraying nozzles made up of swirl nozzles. Every nozzle is composed of case union and swirler aligned therewith. Union has diverging channel to feed fluid to cylindrical bore, asymmetric with casing, to change smoothly into shaped hole aligned therewith and representing Laval nozzle. Said swirler has outer peripheral screw rifles. Note here that central rifled bore is made along swirler axis on inner surface opposite direction of rifles. Said swirler is mounted in casing on elastic pads to be pressed by union via threaded casing-union joint.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of flue gas cleaning due to increased spraying surface area.
