FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas diesel engine feed method, at which natural gas is used as main fuel, and dimethyl ester is used as ignition dose at the end of compression cycle under pressure of 200-300 bar. Ignition dose of dimethyl ester is mixed with natural gas and compressed, and then, mixture is cooled till liquid phase is formed and supplied at the end of compression cycle for more than one time per cycle.
EFFECT: reduction of consumption of liquid oil products and toxicity level of exhaust gases.
