FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: power unit on liquefied natural gas consists of a gas diesel engine (7), a natural gas storage and supply system including a liquefied natural gas storage tank (1), an evaporator (2) with a heating medium supply pipeline (3), a line (4) for maintaining the pressure in the tank (1), air supply lines (16, 21). A spent gas discharge line (6) passes through the receiver (5). A gas-air mixer (8) is located between the receiver (5) and the gas diesel engine (7). The pressure maintaining line (4) connects the receiver (5) and the gas cavity (15) of the tank (1) via an electrically controlled valve (25). A gas-fuel mixer (24) is installed in the fuel supply line (9). A compressor (20) and a turbine (19), the output whereof is connected with the receiver (5), are connected to the air supply line and the spent gas discharge line. Water from the cooling system is supplied to the evaporator (2) as a heating medium.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency and environmental safety of the unit, as well as improvement in the launch and operation indicators.
