FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: patient's immune status is examined to specify organ-specific pulmonary tissue components; the following indicators are to be considered for the purpose of estimating a risk of case fatality rate: IgM [mg/ml], IgG [mg/ml], circulating immune complexes units, AAT to BM LuM 01-230 [% of individual immune reactivity], AAT to CB LuS 06-300 [% of individual immune reactivity], AAT to CB LuS 06-80 [% of individual immune reactivity], erythrocytes [10*6/mcl], leukocytes [10*9/mcl], stab neutrophils [%], lymphocytes [%], monocytes [%], glucose [mmole/l], ACT [unit/l], respiration rate [motion/min], coughing rate [ranges]; then formula is used to calculate a case fatality rate function; if the function is more than zero, a fatal outcome is predicted, while the function less than zero enables predicting reconvalescence.

EFFECT: higher prediction accuracy ensured by specifying and considering the organ-specific pulmonary tissue damage indicators, simplifying the method for predicting the clinical outcome of community-acquired pneumonia in elderly and senile patients, enabling prediction of progression of the disease from the first days of admission to hospital.
