FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic light-emitting devices (OLED) and displays comprising such OLED, which may function similarly to a transistor, and to methods for actuation of such OLED and displays, at the same time the organic light-emitting device comprises at least one organic light-emitting layer (3) as a collector layer arranged between the first electrode (1) and the second electrode (2), and at the same time at least the first electrode (1), however, without limitation, comprises the first emitter layer (1E) and the first basic layer (1B), arranged between the first emitter layer (2E) and the collector layer (3) and the second electrode comprising the second emitter layer (2E) and the second basic layer (2B), arranged between the second emitter layer and the collector layer. In case with a display the first emitting layer (1E) and the first basic layer (1B) are structured, in order to form a matrix of pixels (4) of the first electrodes (1), suitable for actuation separately by means of an operations unit (5), applicable in the mode of direct shift or in the mode of reverse shift, in order to activate/deactivate emission of light with a electric luminescent layer above each pixel.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to control injection of charge carriers independently on working voltage.
