FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: user equipment (UE) has autonomy provided by means of one or more sets of rules for control of processing during a measurement interval. UE may ignore or use only a part of the whole measurement interval, if it is not required. This need may be maintained in keeping a setting for an initial carrier frequency, for instance, when using a procedure of a random access channel (RACH). UE may also select a setting for a carrier frequency, supporting timely transfers of service. Depending on the type of the requested processing (a jointly used loading channel (DL SCH, UL SCH, batching TTI, RACH or SR), UE may save requests and process measurements within the interval, or ignore measurement in the interval as if the intervals did not exist.
EFFECT: invention provides for mobility by means of possibility of faster performance of service transfer.
