FIELD: communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. Device transmits the first and second PRACH tone at the first jump distance from the first tone. Then, the device transmits the third and fourth PRACH tone at the second jump distance from the third tone. Second jump distance is greater than the first jump distance. Device also transmits an additional PRACH tone using an arbitrary jump distance. Receiving device receives the transmitted PRACH and determines the phase estimate based on the sets of tones with different discontinuity distances.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determination of PRACH tone jump.
