The electric vacuum cleaner 1 comprises a base 17, a vertical hinge support unit 18 mounted on the base 17, a main part 19 mounted with the ability to rotate on the vertical hinge support unit 18, a connecting pipe 33 having a central axis along the surface orthogonal to the rotation x-axis of the main part 19, a unit 26 for detaching/collecting dust, placed in the main part 19 and coupled with the connecting pipe 33, an electric fan 27 placed in the main part 19 and coupled with the unit 26 of detaching/collecting dust, and a flexible hose 3 for dust collection, coupled with the connection pipe 33, and coupled with the unit 26 of detaching/collecting dust.
