METHOD OF DETECTING PATHOLOGICAL NIDI IN SPINAL CORD IN DISSEMINATED SCLEROSIS Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61B5/55

Abstract RU 2472433 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, neurology and radiology. MRT examination of spinal cord is performed on MR tomography in sagittal projection with magnetic field intensity 1.5 T in modified mode of STIR* with period of pulse repletion (TR) 3100 ms, time of echo signal appearance (TE) 12 ms, time of inversion 400 ms and total examination time 3 min 30 sec. In case if on obtained images sections with high signal intensity are present, pathological nidi in spinal cord in disseminated sclerosis are detected.

EFFECT: method ensures high sensitivity of examination methods due to increase of pathological nidi visibility.
