FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to urology, and can be used for diagnosing dysfunctions of pelvic organs in children. Calculation of points is carried out by "table of estimating symptoms of urination and defecation disorders", which consists of two parts. In the first part registration of rhythm of spontaneous urinations with indication of presence of imperative tenesmi, urinary incontinence, unvoluntary urination during sleep, presence of urge to defecate, defecation rhythm, presence of encopresis, ratio of day and night diuresis, and volume of drunk liquid is performed. In the second part carried out is calculation of the sum of points by "table of estimating symptoms of urination and defecation disorders", which includes two blocks of symptoms: the first block deals with urination disorders, the second block - with defecation disorders. For the first block of questions the sum of points varies in the range from 0 to 48, for the second block - from 0 to 28. Points for each block of questions are calculated separately and then are summed up into three degrees of pelvic organ dysfunctions, which contain: first degree - point for urination 0-9, point for defecation 0-7, sum of points - 0-16; second degree - point for urination 10-20, point for defecation 8-16, sum of points 18-36; third degree - point for urination higher than 20, point for defecation higher than 16, sum of points - higher than 36. In case of first degree of dysfunctions, one month long course of treatment with further estimation of treatment efficiency is administered immediately. In case of second and third degrees neurophysiological examination of patients is carried out.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase detection of combined dysfunctions of pelvic organs in children; determine degree of dysfunctions and indications for further instrumental examination.
