FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive protection means. Proposed device is composed of mechanism limiting displacement of passengers behind driver by rear seats. Said mechanism represents electromechanical device with simultaneous shock, lock and electric current shock effects. It is located behind drive and composed of coiled helical contraction-expansion spring. Said spring is completely contracted in initial position and arranged in car lengthwise axis, parallel to the floor at the height of, approximately, of man's shins. It comprises trap for legs arranged perpendicular to said spring , spring rear end being secured to the floor. Said trap is composed of shaped flat steel-wire plate with coils-grips covering rear seat width and extending by its ends to driver seat backrest. Opposite ends extend into passage between front and rear seats. Helical spring is locked in initial position by spring-loaded core. Electromagnet excitation winding and shaped spring are connected to car power supply circuit via spring-loaded push-button arranged on car floor nearby driver feet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency protection.
