FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for providing passive safety of passenger vehicles. Safe seat consists of a base and back and is installed on cabin floor and includes an automatic release from stationary state at moment of emergency braking, subsequent tripping around hinged support and re-locking in a position with a horizontal back. Seat tilting mechanism is made in form of connecting seat with rigid post screw of material with low resistance to destruction. Breaking loads in screw correspond to force thereon during emergency braking with inertial load minimally dangerous for driver. Re-locking mechanism of seat is in form of arranged on seat elastic wave-like retainers and opposite recesses in post. Rotation axis of hinged support is installed above centre of mass of seat with driver.
EFFECT: higher passenger safety during vehicle emergency braking.
