FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes transfer of control commands, connection of electric energy loads via load switching devices, controlled by signals from electric energy counters with an assigned identifier, combined into groups, which measure capacity consumed by a load, and amount of consumed electric energy, connection with wire communication channels to devices of counters group control, recording values of complex resistances and values of lengths of sections of the supply power grid from the transformer substation to each load of electric energy into a unit of nonvolatile memory, calculation of the difference between released and total consumed electric energy, fixation of changes of technical condition of the supply power grid by the value of deviation beyond the rated limits of the difference between released and consumed electric energy, detection of correlation of the deviation schedule beyond the rated limits of the difference between the released and consumed electric energy with schedules of changes in consumption of electric energy by individual loads, comparison of actual and calculated voltage drops in the supply power grid. Also a device is proposed that realises the specified method.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and validity of detecting sections in a supplying power grid with technical faults and unauthorised extraction of electric energy.
